Millwork and paneling
Paneling is what makes a room feel built rather than decorated. It is also the least forgiving work in the house, because every joint is at eye level.
A wall of paneling has to resolve three things at once: the rhythm of the panels against the proportions of the room, the way it turns a corner or meets a door frame, and what happens where it stops. Get the first right and the room feels calm. Get the third wrong and the eye goes straight to it, every time, forever.
We draw the setting out before fabrication, which means the panel joints land where they should rather than where they fall. Switches, sockets, air returns and speaker grilles get placed on that same drawing, not improvised on site by whoever arrives first.
Solid woods, veneers and lacquered finishes, cut and assembled in our shop. The same team that built it installs it, so nobody is guessing what the drawing meant.

Questions we get asked
Can paneling go over an existing wall?
Usually yes. We survey the wall for flatness first, because paneling amplifies a bow rather than hiding it. If the wall needs work, we say so before quoting, not after.
