Custom closets
A closet is a piece of furniture that has to fit a person, not a room. We start from what you own and how you get dressed, and the drawing follows from there.
Most closets fail for the same reason: they were drawn as a grid of shelves and then filled. We count first. How many long garments, how many folded, how many pairs of shoes, whether the bags need to stand or hang, where the jewellery lives and whether it needs a lock. That inventory decides the internal dimensions, and the internal dimensions decide the elevation.
Then come the details that separate a fitted wardrobe from a piece of joinery: leather lined trays, internal lighting that comes on with the door, hardware with a soft close that still feels solid in the hand, veneer matched so the grain runs continuously across a wall of doors.
In a coastal climate the substrate matters as much as the finish. We specify for humidity, because a beautiful closet that swells in August is not a beautiful closet.

Questions we get asked
How long does a dressing room take?
Eight to twelve weeks from approved drawings, depending on finish. Lacquer takes longer than veneer because of curing time.
Can you work in a condominium tower?
Yes, and we plan for it. Service elevator booking, loading dock windows, protection of common areas and the certificate of insurance your association will ask for before anyone is allowed upstairs.
